Haber Group is an IT Consulting Company that has been serving clients in the New York City, Long Island and New Jersey area for over 10 years. Our clients are small to medium sized businesses with a focus on the Architectural and Engineering field. Our clients rely on us for designing, implementing and maintaining their IT infrastructure along with satisfying their other technology needs.
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to help support our clients both remotely and on-site, with a specialty of CAD and BIM technologies. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter as well as a great problem solver with at-least 3-5 years experience.
Our technicians are responsible for maintaining network uptime and improving user experience through effective network maintenance and proficient IT solutions. This position requires the candidate to identify user problems promptly, use pro-active problem solving, and maintain customer satisfaction.

The chosen candidate will demonstrate:
• Competence in desktop/end-user support
• The ability to communicate both verbally and written to technical and non-technical people
• Proven customer service skills
• Proficient troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a interactive and team environment, yet also able to work independently
• Excellent and accurate documentation
• Organization and time management
• Being personable and presentable
Minimum Skills Required:
• 3 Years experience in the CAD and IT field
• AutoCAD troubleshooting and support
• Microsoft XP/Vista and Office Products
• Microsoft 2003/2008 Server and Active Directory
• Knowledge of DNS and DHCP
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP
• Symantec Backup Exec and/or other backup methods
• PDA Troubleshooting and BES
Pluses:
• Bentley MicroStation experience
• Mac OS support
• Acquired any Microsoft Certifications
• Linux knowledge
• Virtualization technology experience(Citrix and/or VMWare)
Compensation: commensurate with experience
